Lydia Allen } Know all men by these presents that I Joel Honeycutt of said County and state for and in consideration of the love and affection, I have and bear toward my Grand daughter, Lydia Allen have this day granted, given, bargained and sold, and by these presents do bargain, sell, grant, give unto the said Lydia Allen the following real estate lying and being in said County & state to wit: the SE 1/4 of SW ¼ of Section 10 and NE¼ of

NW ¼ of Section 15 in Township 22 Range 4 West Containing Eighty Acres more or less. To have and to hold unto the said Lydia Allen her heirs and assigns forever. Witness our hand and seal this 11th day of December 1874.

Harris an acting Justice of the Peace in and for said hereby certify that Joel Honeycutt and Celia Honeycutt whose names are signed to the foregoing conveyances and who are known to me. Acknowledged before me on this day that being informed of the contents of the conveyance they executed the same voluntarily on the day the same bears date.

Joel Honeycutt is a son of Bolen Honeycutt and his wife Sarah. He married  Celia Strigling on 20 July 1818 in Georgia.
Their daughter Nancy married Robert Allen. Lydia, the granddaughter in the land deed above, is the daughter of Robert Allen and Nancy Honeycutt. Lydia was born 25 August 1851 in Shelby County, Alabama.
The 80 acres in this Land Deed is the same 80 Acres that Joel obtained from the State of Alabama as shown in this BLM/GLO Document.
