PFC Vernon Delhart Davis

d. Aug. 17, 2009
PFC Vernon D. Davis, son of Marion Bruce Davis and Sarah Nezzie Polson served with the US Army as a Field Artillery Cannoneer.
While on duty in the North Korea Sector on 24 February 1952 he was seriously wounded in action by a missile. PFC Davis survived this battle, recuperated, returned to duty and back home to his family. He married Nellie Tucker.
Vernon D. Davis passed away on 17 August 2009 at the age of 78.
Vernon is my 4th Cousin once removed. Our common ancestor is Thomas Davis and Nancy Rivers.
