NOTE: There is a lot of misinformation about this family on line. I have seen trees listng as many as 15 sons and giving surnmes to both wives of William Eddins, Sr. His first wife is the Mother of his cildren; in old age he married again for about 3 years before he passed away.  There's a 9 page "Bill of Complaint" that contains all the details.

The name William, Williams and Williamson has been attribited to this son of Willaim and Nancy Eddins. William/Williams was married 3 times. His first marriage was to Elizabeth Ingram and took place about 1808 in Chesterfield County, SC or the local area. There were 5 children to this union. His 2nd marriage was to Hannah Wilson and took place about 1828. There were two children of this union. His 3rd and final marriage was Hannah Deaman, one of the parties of this marriage contract, and took place 19 October 1833 in Madison County, Alabama. There were no known children of this union.
