Treasure Chest Thursday~ Photos of Julius and Walter Johns

One of my biggest treasure is a photo I have of my maternal Grandfather and Maternal Grandmother.

Today’s treasure is the photo of my Maternal Grandfather Julius Johns and one of his brother Walter Joseph Johns.

Julius and Walter were the two oldest children of Joseph Henry Johns and Laura Driggers. They had a brother named Samuel, b. abt 1890 who only appears in one census – the 1920 Census for Marlboro County, South Carolina. 1

  1. Family photographs certainly are family treasures! I especially love Julius' hat. Is it a colorized photo ? He has great blue eyes.
