J. M. Sellers, retired pharmacist and the last surviving veteran of the Spanish American War in Goliad County. Survived by his wife, Flora; four daughters, Mrs. Allen Wood, Mrs. Helen Mills, Mrs. Frances Johnston, Mrs. J. Tate Clark; two sons, James Sellers and Donald Sellers; and 13 grandchildren. Burial Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

James Mack Sellers was the son of Francis Marion Sellers and Louise Catherine Moody. His grandparents were Calvin Cook Sellers, Sr. and  Eliza A. Howell. 

James Mack Sellers is my 4th Cousin 3 times removed.

  1. We don't see much in genealogy about the Spanish American War. I don't think I have ever researched a participant.
