It’s Family Time~John H. Brock Family

It's Family Time

John H. Brock was born on 26 Nov 1883, a son of William T. ‘Bill’ Brock and Martha J. Parker. He was their first born thus the oldest of seven children; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. At the age of 26, John married 17 years old Estella M. Brock, daughter of  Samuel Stonewall Jackson Brock and Laura Cornelius Teal.

Before John’s untimely death at the age of 36 he and Estella would have three children of which only one son survived.

John died on 17 May 1920; Estella remarried to a young man named Edwin Eddins She, Edwin and her son Loyd can be  found living in Manning, Dillon County, South Carolina in the 1930 census.

John H. Brock is buried in the Zoar United Methodist Church Cemetery, Chesterfield County, South Carolina.

John H. Brock is my 1st Cousin twice removed.
