It’s Family Time~James Franklin and Lessie Ida Teal

It's Family TimeJames Franklin Teal, son of John Daniel Teal and Sarah Ann ‘Susie’ Wadsworth was born 29 April 1872 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina.  He would grow up to be a farmer just as his father and grand fathers before him.

James Franklin met and married a young lady by the name of Lessie Ida Davis. Lessie Ida was the daughter of  William Alfred Davis and Nancy J. Hurst. Their first enumeration in any census is the 1900 census for Court House, Chesterfield, South Carolina. That Census shows that they were married in 1891.  At the time of the Census in July 1900; James and Lessie had three children of which two were living.
